April 2020 Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop - CKC - Leaps and Bounds

Welcome to the April Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop. Clair is up this month and she picked Cocoa Daisy "Orchard Path" kits as our inspiration kit this month. She says "there's a lot to choose from, so use whichever kit (or whichever elements) suit you best!

Our Guest Designer this month is Mel Davis and she can be found here on Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/meldavis.nz/

Now for the details on our Kit:
Here is the Pocket Kit

Traveler's Notebook Kit:

and finally a Planner Kit:

I'm ready for spring and this kit is screaming spring to me.  I love the flowers, labels, circles, the light peach and corals with the spring green colors.

Here is my April 2020 CKC - Leaps and Bounds

I started by pulling some older paper from my stash. I started with the paisley paper and the word paper as it had most of the colors from the inspiration kit.

From the left to the right I have: DCWV - denim paper with silver stitching from 2000, the next two Jen Hadfield from the Best of Stack, Recollections - Black Lace, Graphic 45 - Bird Song Collection "Pearls of Wisdom" from 2012, Scrapbook Walls = Stitched Gallery Floral, Me and My Big Ideas orange graph paper which as to be from around, and paisley paper that has most of the colors in it and a sheet from Colorbox.

I added in the January and February KOTM form 202o {you are enough - new beginnings} and {timeless}.  I feel they are so appropriate with what we are all going through now with the Stay at home orders. The living room stamp is just perfect with this and I love all the saying in both sets. I always receive a small something in the kits and January's kit has the tag, vellum pocket and the perfectly matched jewels.
My page set 2 is a set of from 2016 by Bo Bunny - Bella Rosa.

I don't have all the papers but I do have most of them along with the stickers/labels that came with the collection. the labels are quite large which is probably why I haven't used them.

The Ephemera collection also came with some pieces of scrapbook paper so here is the front and back. I thought this was perfect for the kit since we have a travelers notebook and journal kit to select from.

Lastly is page set 3 -

The march Collection from Ali Edwards.

Your next stop on the hop is the talented Julene - http://julenebydesign.blogspot.com/ I do have the full hop listed at the bottom of the post.

Don't forget to stop back  on the 2nd for Just the Gist of it and then the Mini Kit's on the 6th.

Lots of possibilities with so many papers you've assembled for your April copy-cat kit! I definitely get the color vibes reflected in yours like the inspiration kits!!

I'm always impressed at the direction you take the inspiration kits and how you very much make them your own. The page kits are always a good idea and I often have the intention to do this but then forget!
