February 2022 Counterfeit Kit Reveal and Blog Hop

Welcome to the February Counterfeit Kit Reveal and Blog Hop. You should have arrived from Misty Crafty Soup, if not don't worry as I have the whole blog hop listed below.  Our Guest Designer this month is Gretl Dixon, please give her a warn welcome.

This month Misty is hosting and has picked the Denim & Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit from Cocoa Daisy from February 2021. She says "This kit is just a little bit different as it focuses on plenty of journaling cards and embellishments. But I love the kit for its combination of rich and airy colors. It's everyday life usefulness and the slightest nod to the Valentine's holiday. I hope you will find it as inspiring as I do."

Now for my kit, Cherish Hearts

Paper kit #1 - it's darker in color than the "Blush" from the inspiration kit but I wanted to use the heart paper and the "love" paper.  The paper is from Amy Tangerine "Stitched" paper pad.  I added in the last of the papers I had and the scraps which were only a few. For embellishments I have pulled, specifically for this this paper kit - silk flowers, ribbon, bows, bottle caps, washi tape, wood veneer and a DIY envelope and DIY word stickers.

Here are the papers for the main kit:

I have papers from Jen Hadfield's Patio Party (2017), Chasing Adventures (2018), Heart of Home (2017) and Simple Life (2016), Homemade (2018), Craft Smart's Corner Office paper pad (unknown), Jeni Bowlin (2010), Basic Grey (2009), Tim Holtz Paper Stash paper pad (2015), Paper Studio - Blanc Boutique(unknown), American Crafts DIY Shop (2013), Bo Bunny Genevieve Collection (2018), along with various cardstock, and a few sheets of DCWV glitter paper.

Here are a few of my embellishments - bottle caps, flowers, buttons, ribbon, washi tape, wood veneers, enamel dots, and the die cuts I didn't finish off from last month. I'm only show you a little bit of what I pulled.

I have included a bunch of cut apart from Jen Hadfield's Heart of Home (2017) and Simple Life (2016) and Craft Smart's Corner Office paper pad (unknown) - again I am only showing a few of them.

Finally, I have included a few tools in my kit.

Two different border punches, nesting stitched hearts, a couple of different stamps sets from Unity Stamp Company, and two of Ali Edwards Stories by the Month sets for February 2020 and 2021.

These are pretty. I picked up on a valentines day theme there along with pretty florals and interesting patterns. I'm keen to see those bottlecaps .
