Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog - Challenge #1 - Pick #

The Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog has Challenge #1 up - a Pick Three. We were to pick at least three of these items: stars, flowers, stripe, enamel dots, pink, stripes, circles, tags and frames. We can use more than three from the list and we can use other things not on the list, but do include 3 items from the list.

This is how I represented my items:
Stars - enamel shapes
Enamel dots - pink dots
Chipboard and Frames - Pink flower chip board frame.
Florals - this can be paper or embellishments - I have die cut flower, silk flower, pink flowers, flowers in the paper and even flowers in the picture
Stripes - I have the green and white stripe paper and the pink stripe paper
The color pink - is everywhere but the background and the brown cardstock mats
Circles - I have the light and dark circle shapes under the pink flowers, circles in the pink paper, rhinestone circles in the flowers.
Tags - I stamped birthday on the off white tag.

I matted all my pattern papers onto brown or kraft colored cardstock and then used a brown sharpie to draw a couple of lines on each side. I also use the sharpie on the green background paper for more definition.

Now for a close up  of the Left side embellishment cluster.

Top Right Cluster:

It's a really simple layout but my Cluster I think take it over the top for a picture of my birthday Flowers.

Now go check out what the rest of the Master Forgers created. I saw a sneak peak of a few layouts and there are all so cute.

Thanks for stopping by.

March 2020 Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop - CKC March 2020 - Nature Walk

Welcome to the March Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop.  Lori is up this month and she says, "We have had a string of cloudy, dreary, rainy, snowy days around here, and that paired with the fact that the first day of spring is in March here in the Northern Hemisphere had me looking for a bright and springy kit." She has picked Citrus Twist's February 2020 Scrapbooking Add-on Kit for the inspiration kit this month.

Citrus Twist also has a Life Crafted Kit

Our guest designer this month is the wonderfully talented Julie Jeavons and you should have arrived here from Julie's Blog

I decided to make two separate page kits for papers but the embellishments can be used on either one.
I started my kit with this inspiration piece from Pink Fresh - Be You "Kind" I knew I had some Jen Hadfield paper that would work well with the color scheme, but then I went a little crazy and pulled even more paper. I wanted to use some of the Pink fresh which are newer to me than some of the Jen Hadfield and Pop Culture which is from 2002.
It had most of the colors from the inspiration kit and I can use the paper as embellishment or as paper. I love the flower and bird that are on these little squares.

Page Set 1:

Now for my embellishments:

Pink fresh Love your heart layered stickers, Indigo puffy stickers, wood stickers, Ephemera pack and journaling spots with gold foil, enamel shapes and gold starts one sheet of rub -on that is from DCWV .

Then I pulled out some ribbon, buttons, frames, bottle caps washi flowers pre-made, DIY and silk along with some miscellaneous chipboard pieces. The heart frames are from an old Amy Tangerine paper pack that I cut apart.

Now for the tools.

Unity Stamp Company - March 2019 KOTM {gather love}, Stampin Up - Notably Ornate, Bliss, and Punch Potpourri along with the punch for the flower and bird, Gina K stamp and dies, star punch and single flower die which has not been uses. Master Forger Shannon has inspired me to include a rub on sheet and get them used up. I couldn't decided on a cut file or which Cricut Cartridge so I will add that in later.

Now hop on over to see what Julene has pulled for her kit
