Anniversary

We went on a trip to the North Shore for our 26th Anniversary. Stayed at Cove Point and watched the Lighthouse being lit for the 100 year Anniversary. Then we played tourist as we have not been up to that area.

Here is the June template. My irises are all done blooming. I had transplanted some of the iris last year so they did not bloom, but they made up for it this year.

Christmas Cactus blooming in March.

Here is the March Template. My Christmas Cactus is in full bloom again. It normally blooms 3 to 4 times a year. Last summer I moved it outside to wash the leaves, the wind came up and blew it over. I now have three plants from my original plant. The picture is from the middle sized plant.

February....

is almost over and I have not been very good at blogging this month. I have the February template to share with you at both the 12x12 and 8x8 size. Izzy is not wanting to take a bath. She is really good though, no biting or growling, she just doesn't like to get wet.

January...

is almost gone and February is on it's way. I had a wonderful time with our family at the end of December and with my younger Sister during January. Now it's time to get back on track. I have a digital template for the months and some of the holidays. The border is done in black but can be changed to any color for your color scheme.

Day 4 is a pretty simple layout. I used the kit provided by Faith Sisters.

I am again using the kit from Faith Sisters and a template from Kim Myers call Leaves. I have two files today. The "LOVE is" and the word art for the Day Three.

Day two for the Christmas challenge is done.

Once again I used the kit from Faith Sisters and Black Chancery for the font. I will be using this font through out.

 

A Partridge in a Pear Tree

The Faith Sisters Christmas challenge this year is the 12 Days of Christmas. Here is my layout for A Partridge in a Pear Tree.

I am using the kit they made for the challenge. The font I used is Black Chancery.

Trail Head

Week 23 we are to find photos with frames in the photos. I took this picture in May when I was at the Wildcat Hills Nature Center. The two pines trees make a perfect frame for the trail head sign.

Digital Scrapbooking Tutorials

I recently watched a webinar that the National Association of Digital Scrapbookers held. The tutorial was excellent and I learned a lot. This layout is based on the tutorial I watched.

I believe that I am a pretty good multitasker, so I had my Adobe Photoshop Elements on my computer at the same time the webinar was going on. Next time I will just take notes then make my layout based on what I learned.
