You're the Light

I squeezed in a few minutes of crafty time last night and made a card based on Moxi Fab Tuesday Trigger

and the Viva la Verve! Week 4 Sketch Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.

I drew my inspiration from the rug, the seat at the foot of the bed - colors, pattern and the legs, and finally the yellow of the comforter. I knew I had an embossing folder similar to the rug pattern, some left over blue pattern paper and the Light bulb stamp would be perfect in the yellow.  The sentiment is stamped in a burgundy to resemble the legs of the seat at the foot of the bed.

I had enough left over to finish the inside of the card with the same paper.

All of the paper except for the card base is from my scrap pile. After embossing the red card stock I sanded it a little to bring out some of the white core. I just love the Pink Paisley paper and this is the last of it, so I will have to find a new favorite. A little bit of embroidery yarn tied to the side of my sentiment and I'm done.

Thanks for stopping by.

I card made for OWH.
