When I was growing up on the ranch my Grandmother Jessie would tell the story of riding a mule down the Grand Canyon walls to the river below. She would talk about the different colors of the rock wall and how pretty it was. Several years back my husband and I went to the Grand Canyon in January. We were not riding mules down the Grand Canyon, but it was amazing to see the Canyon.
In my kit I included several cut apart sheets as I am horrible about not using them and my challenge for myself was to try to get a few of the used up. I pulled out this one and am going to use
create moments not things on my layout. I pulled out the yellow wooden paper, the gray frame, leaves and a scrap of paper for the vertical band.

I have to go back and add a dark blue border around the lemon paper, I evidentially forgot to do this when I was making the layout.

Cindy - what an awesome memory about the Grand Canyon! And good for you to be encouraging yourself to use up the cut apart sheets. That sheet you have is a favourite of mine - I tend to use the smaller cards for layouts and cards but I really struggle with the larger ones so well done! I like how you used the lemon paper - keeping that in mind for some lemon print I have of my own!
