Joy Shaped Card - Day 10

This weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge is to use the card feature from any cartridge. I normally don't use the card features on the cartridges so it's a double challenge for me as I tend to make my own card shapes.

I cut the white card base in half and used one on the inside of the card and one on the outside of the card. The leaf is weaved over and under the flouish. I have "joy" on a button to bring it away from the page.

I used a smaller version of the leaf on the inside of the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Santa and Reindeer Snowflake - Day 7

Here is Day 7 for the 30 Day's of Christmas Cards. If you missed the first 6 Day's click here.
I really like all of the different snowflake's on the When Its Cold Outside cartridge, but sometimes it's hard to figure out how to use them without losing the design. The card base is from a kit that had cards already in it. I'm sorry but I don't know the name of the kit - it is a couple of years old.
I cut the snowflake out twice once in white and again in red. I fussy cut the red poinsettia, used red ink and then red embossing power on it.

I always do something on the inside of the cards and here it is just a piece of the music stamped on blue and mounted onto the red cardstock. All of the edges are inked with Coffee Bean.

I'm also entering this card in the Cricut Card Challenge #49 - Make a Christmas card with something that starts with an "S" . Maybe I'll get extra points for the Double S - Snowflake and Santa - ha,ha. Thanks for stopping by.
