Hi and thanks for stopping by. I'm starting off the Card A Day Blog's last theme for the month of April - Anything Goes. I decided to do some distressing and embossing for my card today.
I started off by making the card base and cutting the two panels. I then inked the edges with vintage photo distress in. I stamped using Early Espresso ink. For the butterfly I stamped it twice, once on Kraft and again on the cream paper. I used clear embossing powder on the cream paper then used the distress ink to bring in the blue. I fussy cut both butterflies out and used Glossy Accents to glue where the body would be leaving the wings free.
To finish off the inside I stamped my image off the journaling mat.
Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow Tina Campbell is the Designer at the Card A Day Blog so stop back to see her inspiration.
