For the card front I cut the blue wavy paper to 3 3/4" x 4 1/4" and the stripe paper to 1 1/8" x 4 1/4" and layered this onto a piece of gray card stock cut at 3 7/8" x 5 3/8". Out of the green pattern paper I made a banner slightly smaller than my oval 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" and attached it to my card front. I then wrapped a pieced of embroidery floss around the layers. The embroidery floss is J&P #71 and I'm not even sure it's made any more. I stamped the ship and used my Fiskars oval cutter to cut it out at 2" x 2 1/2", I did trim a bit of the waters edged off on each side. I added a gray button with a double bow at the top. I stamped "Friends" and added a piece of embroidery floss with the tiny attacher.
For the inside I layered the striped paper and a piece of white card stock stamped with the anchor. I did forget to ink the inside of my card. Oh well next time.
Tomorrow Chris Durnan is continuing the theme at the Card A Day Blog so don't forget to stop back. Thanks for stopping by.
