Tags

I had not put away my stamps from making cards the other day and still had the kraft scraps on my desk so I made a few tags. I stamped and embossed them, punched a hole, used a corner  rounder some and angled the corners on others.

Tag set #1: I used the ornament set from the Unity Stamps  KOTM October 2016 {holiday hugs}. I stamped, embossed, cut the cardstock down to size, then punched the hole for my tag.

 

Tag set #2:  I used the Moose Joy stamp for this set of tags.

Tag set #3: One tag uses both of the snowflakes that were in this kit.

Tag set #4: Used the poinsettia stamp that was in the kit.

Ink: Distress ink - black soot
Punch: Crop-a-Dile 1/2" corner rounder; hole punch
Misc.: Adhesive, Embossing Powder - black, Embroiders yarn - black, Heat Gun and scissors

Girl Tags.

I pulled out the other two "girl" stamps that came in my Kit of the Month and decided to make a couple more tags with them since I like the last one so much. You can find the last one tag here.

I again started by stamping onto watercolor paper and using water color pencils to color her in.  I'm using the same background paper on each tag but using different ribbons, lace and embellishments. I like how the doily was on the first tag so I'm going to keep that element on these.

I tied off each of the ribbons and left enough so that I can add a charm when I give them away.


May Kit of the Month 2014 { Hey Girl} Tag:

 

I stamped on watercolor paper and used watercolor pencils to color the image in.  After everything was dry I cut her out.

I again kept the back pretty simple so that I can add my sentiment later when I know who and what I'm going to use the tags for.

Deer Tags - Christmas Card Challenges

At the Christmas Card Challenges blog they have a tag challenge going on.  We can never have to may tags so I pulled out some of my scraps to create a few guy tags as I can never have to many guy tags.

I started by tracing around a shipping tag onto some cardstock and cutting it out.  I then pulled out some Christmas paper, distressed it, inked it and added to the front of my tag.  I used the Deer from the Birch Tree Accessories and die cut a few of them and inked the edges.

 

The "let it snow" is another Unity stamp and this was stamped then cut out. Keeping things consistent I inked around the edges with the distress ink.  I have them up a zot to add a little bit of dimension.  I used wet glue on this and they are buckling a little but a day under a book with have them flat.  To finish off the top I added some embroidery yarn.

Cards and Tags

Challenge #3 at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge is to use Little Bits Card Challenge.  Now I am sad to say that I always have little bits and pieces on my desk. Yes my desk is a mess - if there was a challenge for that I would win hands down.  So I made 4 cards and 3 tags for this challenge. They are all from the same Unity Kit of the Month Stamp Set that was on my desk.

Oh Christmas Tree Card:
The stripe Christmas paper was already embossed as I was trying to make a different card and just couldn't get it to work, but it works great here.

Bird Cards:
The pattern paper was left over from the Elephant Matchboxes I made last month.  The lace and trims are always on my desk in a jar as they are scraps.

I used the same trims, card base and pattern paper for these two cards. 

Christmas Lights Card:
This is the same pattern paper from above but I've added the blue punched paper.  The punch was on my desk from the last layout I was working on. 

Season's Greetings Tags:
The dark brown cardstock was from the "Today is the Day" layout. 

I do have a few things that were not on my desk: the markers, the circle dies, and the dark red cardstock for the bird card bases, the unfortunately was on my desk. Now I'm going to clean my desk and put a few things away.

Today is your day - Tags

A couple of weeks ago I made a couple layouts for the Stamp and Scrap Class at My Creative Classroom.  I had stamped a few extra of the balloons and the cameras just to be of the safe side while I was working on the layouts.  Today I made a couple of tags out of what was left over from the layouts.  

I stamped around the outside of my tag and just below the reinforced hole at the top of the tag . I cut the pattern paper to fit inside the word border then distressed and inked the edges.

Then added my balloons and camera that was already stamped and cut out.
