Just Relax ATC's

ATC's with Attitude's Challenge 46 is to create an ATC with the theme Just Relax.

My last ATC for the challenge is bottles and jars of flowers.  I use milk jar, drink jars, mustard jars and canning jars to name a few.  I take the flowers to work, drop off at a friends house or send with DH to work. The top corner has a Cricut flower with a ribbon bow and each side has a punched edge.

I hope you enjoyed three things that I find relaxing.  Thanks for stopping by.

Recipe: (Supplies are for all three ATC's)
Paper: Unknown Scraps from my scrap pile.
Ink: Stazon: Black and Timber Brown
Stamps: Unity Kit of the Month - June 2013 {love the little things} and July 2013 {Spirit of Summertime}
Punches: Stampin' Up - Scallop Trim; Martha Stewart - branch punch' Michael's Mini punch - foot print
Water Color Pencils: General's Kimberly - 707 Green, 708 Orange, 710 Pink, 712 Light Blue and 715 Carmine; Staedtler - Purple, Pink, Bright Yellow, Red
Flower Soft: red, yellow, orange, blue, purple, pink and green
Misc.: adhesive,  rhinestone flower, scraps of ribbon, Cricut flower shape (no idea which cartridge) and a left over punched flower.

Just Relax ATC

ATC's with Attitude's Challenge 46 is to create an ATC with the theme Just Relax.

Next is the flip flops.  I come home from work, change my clothes, then make myself a nice tall glass of Ice Tea.  Of course my flip flops are on - I even wear them in the winter.  I know I live in Minnesota but it's not like I go outside in them (shhh, don't tell).  This is part of my routine after work and helps me to relax. I added a few of feet running up the side and a ribbon tab at the top.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just Relax ATC's

ATC's with Attitude's Challenge 46 is to create an ATC with the theme Just Relax.

First up is the bicycle with flowers.  I've added flower soft, which I ever hardly use, to the flowers and bicycle seat.  I added a couple of pieces of punched branches, a flower from another project along with a piece that was punched to finish off the ATC.  I enjoy relaxing after planting and weeding my flower beds.

Wild Horse and Hello ATC's

Last week I made a card for the Card A Day Blog, Wild Horses, was my title and today I'm showing you the two ATC's I made with the left over pieces from making the card.

I had stamped the horse in Coffee Bean and did not like the way it looked on the card. On the ATC I am using this horse.  I cut the brown embossed piece down to the ATC size which is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".  To this I've added the newsprint paper ( this was also a scrap), punched the corners and inked the edges.  I then tied a piece of just around it and attached a bead.  I inked the horse with Vintage Photo and used foam tape to attach it to the ATC base.

For the Hello ATC I cut the blue embossed card stock down to 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" and layered this onto a piece of brown card stock which the edges were distressed.  I inked the blue embossed card stock with Ochre to give it a little bit more dimension.  I added my left over feathers from the Wild Horses card at the top of my ATC - the side with out the embossing along it.  I used the tattered Banners die to cut out a banner, folded it, inked the edges, and stamped "hello". (Tip: I used a piece of post it note to cover the flower when I inked my stamp, then removed it before stamping on the banner.) I then added the jute with another bead and finished it off by added the banner over it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Dad

ATC's with Attitude's Challenge #41 is Neutral Colors. I broke out my May Kit of the Month from Unity and inked one of the new stamps.  Father's Day is not that far away and I'm working on a project for my hubby and thought this would be the perfect tag.

I inked my stamp in brown and stamped it onto a light piece of tan paper then tore it out, distressed the edges, rolled a few and inked them.  I have this on foam tap so that it is up a little from the dark brown background.  I  wrapped a pieced of embroidery floss around the brown background then glued everything to the tan card stock.

Thanks for stopping by.

Best Guy Ever

I had one of the cars left over from my Card A Day card and was looking for sketch or a challenge to use it on.  I found the ATC Challenge blog ATC's with Attitude with the challenge of Frame It and thought it was perfect for this challenge.

I started with a base of rust cardstock and layered a piece of plaid card stock on top. The car is layered onto a piece of green cardstock.  I used an embossing frame and blue cardstock then cut around the outside and inside of the frame.  The frame is attached with pop up dots to give it some dimension.

I stamped the best guy ever, cut the words apart and attached them to the side of the card.  I thought the ATC still needed something so I attached an old key with a piece of seam binding.

All of the pieces are inked with olive green and burgundy except for the frame and the sentiment pieces.

Thanks for stopping by.
