The card base is made with white card stock for a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card. I inked the tulip with Celery and the leaves with New England Ivy, stamped on white card stock, then embossed with clear embossing powder. I then colored the tulip with Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Fire Brick Red. The leaved are colored with Peeled Paint and Celery. After the tulip was dry I trimmed around the edges then inked all the edges with Peeled Paint to cover up the white edges. I stamped French writing on tan card stock with brown ink to create the background behind the tulip leaves.

I used the Stampin' Up Wow Flower Stamp set and the Simply Sent Card Elements kit for this card. I used pop up dots behind the large sticker and medium stickers and behind the button.
Here is another card using the Wow Flower Stamp set and Simply Sent Card Elements kit. Once again I used pop-up dots behind the first two layers of the flower. I also used a small pop-up dot behind the button.

After making the butterflies I had to try dragonflies. I used the Cricut cartridge DoodleCharms for the dragonflies. I cut the dragonfly that is on the front of the card at 3 inches and the smaller ones at 1 inch, make sure you use the blackout function.

I do not have a dragonfly punch so I glued the dragonfly on the top inside front and bottom right hand side second page.
I cut three extra dragonfly to decorate the front of the envelopes.

This is my Desk Top for August. I'm using the Digital Kit by Amanda Thorderson again from Digital Scrapbook Pages.
Using the Card Feature on the Cricut. I needed to make a few card to cheer a friend up so I thought I would do a tutorial for you.
Now select the shift lock button and your card feature button again. You may need to cut a couple of different times for the shape to get all the colors cut. I cut four different times for this flower. Twice for green, one each of red and purple. I like to decorate my cards with an image on the inside.
For the card base select the card base, load your paper and cut. The Cricut will score and cut. I have been using 8 1/2" by 11" card stock for card base and another sheet for the envelope.
For the envelope select the card feature button, shift lock, and the envelope. This is the envelope that goes with this card. Load you paper and cut.
I loose just a little bit of the flap when I use and 8 1/2 x 11" piece of paper. It's not a lot, I just make sure that this flap is folded to the inside. When folding you envelope be sure to use a bone folder. I use red line tape for the flaps on the envelope. Since I'm making this as a gift I leave the red plastic on the last envelope flap.
I then tie a ribbon around the window and the side of the card top before I glue to the card base. I cut off the top of the green tulips before I glued the leaves on. I used pop up dots behind the purple and red tulips.
This is for Cheryl, I hope she is feeling better.
I used pop up dots behind the fence to give it a little more interest. The daisy's have small rhinestones in the middle of them.
Seal the envelope then cut 1 1/2" off of the top (the short side of the envelope) Using the same distress inks color your envelope. I do both the front and the back of the envelope and envelope top. I stamped the swirls on the envelope front of the envelope only. I then run the envelope, not the top, through a paper crimper.
The inside is decorated with paper from Karen Foster's Micro Paper Bundle. I cut a sheet of the paper into 1 1/2" squares, glued onto a white background at 1 1/2" and trimmed to size. I then decorated with a couple of punched flowers with rhinestones for the flower centers.
I did this layout for the Scraplift Challenge at Digital Scrapbook Pages.
