Here's a double page layout from my October 2015 Counterfeit kit - Autumn Leaves. The kids took a weekend and were camping a one of the local parks.

I started with the We R Memory Keepers Jet Set paper to cut out the state, then added the punched star and the "you are here. I used Design Studio to center it onto the paper so that I could use the cut sheet on another layout.

They brought back the State Park guide and their permit . I just backed the cut out with grey cardstock and punched another star to mark where they were.

Pumpkins

One of Scrapbook Heaven's October Monthly Challenge's is by Jules - Die cut paper.

I made my own die cut paper for this one using the Accent Essentials Cartridge. The top of the layout is on foam tape so that it is raised up from the background paper and photo mat. I then made a frame around the opening.

The flowers are from the 50 States cartridge, inked, rolled edges, and scrunched up. I used a large brad, clear embossed the head, and used a reddish brown embossing powder. The embossing powder is from a 12 pack from Michael's with no color names.

For each pumpkin I cut a green one and an orange one. I cut the top of the orange pumpkin, inked the edges and glued to the green pumpkin and inked again. I have glued one to the back page and two on the top page using foam tamp.

I am using parts of the wreath I took a part in this post, to weave through the flowers and pumpkins. I used my hot glue to hold this down.

Boy Oh Boy September Challenge

The September sketch for the Boy Oh Boy Challenges is a great one for border punches. I made a couple of page borders with the Cricut as I wanted a fence border, then I need an ivy border and how about a tree border. I kind of went wild on the making borders.

The leaves at the bottom of the page are a hidden journaling tag.

License Plate Album

I don't know about you, but there are a few Cricut Cartridges that I think I don't need to buy because I don't need them. A couple of them are: Going Places, Graphically Speaking, and 50 States. My kids are older so no school projects. DS asked me to make an album for his trips he is taking this year and I remember this Album from one I had seen on one the Yahoo Groups. The Bog is Scrapped Lives and the album is called a Travel Portfolio. So when Joann's had their cartridges on sale I sent my DS and DH to the store



I'm making an album for License Plates. I know it sounds funny, but my DS will stop at the junkyards and pick up a couple of plates from each state he's been in, (no I haven't started the other album). The first one he gave me was for Alaska. I Incorporated the State, State Flag, and Name on the page from 50 States and then added a note paper from Graphically Speaking.








I am using binder rings to hold everything together.
